Charlene is a classically trained pianist who grew up playing in various recitals in Northern California. She began her YouTube channel ‘charlice’ in January of 2020. With an interest in learning how to sing, she made covers of her favorite songs with nothing but earbud microphones and the Garageband mobile app. Through this hobby, she developed a passion for audio editing and is currently studying audio production using Pro Tools in Los Angeles, California.

Music Production
As part of her audio engineering degree, Charlene co-produced an original song “go!” written by her classmate Olivia Andrews, with all elements recorded live in a studio setting. Charlene and Olivia outsourced all talent and worked together during all stages of the production process to record the song, direct the musicians, and mix the final product using Pro Tools.
